ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE

HEAD OF CREATIVE - GLOBAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, TWDC

Jan 2016 - present

As head of DCP Creative, I manage a group of highly talented Product Developers who oversee over 7,000 product, packaging and marketing designs annually. I also provide creative direction on big beat projects from concept to completion, ensuring every level of detail is a positive reflection of our wonderful brands - Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, 20th Century Studios and National Geographic.
I am part of a trusted circle of creative leadership within the International WDC family, regularly connecting with creative peers from around the world to share ideas, recent projects, challenges and compare each other's market nuances. 
I support WDC leadership with creative solutions on tough commercial challenges, regularly offering new ideas and contributing my deep understanding of our brands and consumers.
We pride ourselves on our out-of-the-box thinking and positive attitude towards finding a feasible - but magical - solution.

CREATIVE MANAGER - MARKETING, TWDC

Oct 2014 - Jan 2016

As Creative Manager Australia & New Zealand, I was responsible for guiding creative for Disney's core brands; directing concepts to meet the needs of our business across all consumer touch points. The role was responsible for meeting business objectives, protecting our characters and storytelling heritage, whilst surprising and delighting our consumer with new ways of answering the brief. 
I was also the founding leader of the Creative Council, a dedicated think tank of creative specialists from across the business. We shared insights and devised concepts for special projects and internal creative process, ensuring consistency and best practice across our quiver of brands.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - SOFTLINES, TWDC

Jan 2014 - Oct 2014

As PD Manager I directed and/or influenced the creative execution of various new business pitches and supervised range development across the Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars Softlines business, spanning categories such as apparel, accessories, home decor and infant. My strengths included experiential retail VM concepts, product differentiation strategies, incremental/promo range initiatives, trend inspiration and innovation and team management.
